Hip Hop Dance Classes
Hip-hop is a dance style, usually danced to hip-hop music, that evolved from the hip-hop culture. Hip-hop includes various moves such as breaking, popping, locking and krumping, and even house dance. Improvisation and personal interpretation are essential to hip-hop dancing. In this class students will learn the fundamentals of hip hop including popping & locking, freezes, street dance and freestyle moves.
Class Placement Guidelines
Junior Hip Hop: Approximately 4 - 7 years
Intermediate Hip Hop: Approximately 8 -12 years
*Class placement will depend on the child’s maturity and dance experience.
Our Teachers will advise you of the right class for your child.

Uniform

Girls:
Black leggings or knee-length shorts (NOT bootie shorts) with black Bass Coast Ballet School logo singlet* over top and black sneakers, preferably high-top sneakers.** Hair must be worn in a ponytail for all tap, jazz, and hiphop classes. |
Boys:
Black pants or knee-length shorts with black Bass Coast Ballet School logo singlet* and black sneakers, preferably high-top sneakers.** |
