Contemporary
Contemporary Ballet is a form of dance influenced by both classical ballet and modern dance. It takes its technique from classical ballet, although it permits a greater range of movement that may not adhere to the strict body lines set forth by schools of ballet technique. Many of its concepts come from the ideas and innovations of 20th century modern dance, including floor work and turn-in of the legs.
This class is designed for students to help with flexibility and strength. Contemporary dance is a collection of methods developed from modern and post-modern dance, incorporating strong and often angular body and arm lines. It is an enjoyable and quite unique dance style and we encourage students to try it out.

Lyrical
Lyrical dance is a dance style that combines the technique of ballet and the fluidity of jazz dance. A unique trait of lyrical is the emotional connection and storytelling brought to life by the lyrics and music. It is a great dance style to teach children because they can easily relate to that emotional content.
